Currently on the Hoodrich Promo Tour with Dj Scream and Dj Swamp Izzo, Grand Marqui$ has graced several city's with his presence some including: Charlotte, NC; Nashville, TN; Miami, FL; Knoxville,TN; Augusta, GA; Washington, DC; Mobile, AL; Columbus, OH and other cities. Recently releasing two songs via iTunes "Crunches & Lunges" which can be found on the mixtape and "Camera Phone" the 1st single since the release of "Oh So Grand", Grand Marqui$ has prepared to hit the streets with a new release "Murda, Murda" which is set for release the beginning of September  “I just want to be able to connect with everybody, not just one race or ethnic group” says the crafty artist, born Marquis Grace. Raised on the south side of Atlanta, the Clayton County area is where his musical interest began. At the tender age of 12 he recorded his first song over a track he made on a Yamaha keyboard and a dual cassette karaoke machine, in which both were Christmas gifts. From there he went on to join his middle school band,where he played percussion, a skill he quickly caught on to. He became the “go to guy” for any rap battle or freestyle session. This would continue on through his High School years where he became popular for his ability to freestyle and use witty punch lines. This is the time he formed his group “T.N.N.” After Graduating High School Grand Marqui$ pursued his interest for music by enrolling in American Intercontinental University’s music production program, to learn more of the engineering side of music. After less than a year Grand Marqui$ dropped out of A.I.U. to pursue music full time. He purchased music recording equipment with the knowledge he learn from A.I.U.’s program to start recording himself. At that time Grand Marqui$ began perfecting his craft by making over 200 tracks and recording over 100 songs. “If I want to be able to consider myself among the best, I have to practice like the best” says Grand Marqui$. Unquestionably there’s definitely a place for Grand Marqui$ in the forever changing music industry. In a genre some would probably consider, hip-hop & blues, combining melodic hooks with his own rap-style, Grand Marqui$ has what it takes to be the next to join the most elite. Set out to make his mark as a solo act, with a unique sound producing and writing his songs, will not be a problem for the young charismatic musician.
